The climate changes

Making this short video whilst I was in Uganda really brought home to me the changes in weather patterns that farmers are already experiencing. I know both Jane and Helen quite well as they have been involved in an education project that I manage, Grow it Global. It was strange hearing about their experiences after seeing them here during their stay in the UK, and it makes me think about how they may come up against climate challenges in the future too. As they explain in the video, they feel prepared for changes in weather patterns, thanks to Send a Cow training. I know that they have passed on their training in the communities where they live and that this has had a great impact. And it's also encouraging to know that as people support Send a Cow, more of these simple techniques will spread across African countries, giving them the tools they need to face the future.
