Eat Together
In Africa, lunch is the most important meal of the day, and for many families living in poverty, it is often the only one. As it’s usually women who provide this meal, why not ‘do lunch’ in support of African ladies?
Simply get together with your friends at your favourite eatery, ask guests to forgo their starter, dessert (or both!) and donate the money you would have spent to Africa instead.
Leaving out a course or two will not only show your support for hungry families, it will also raise vital funds to help Send a Cow get more meals on the table for thousands of African women and children.
It doesn’t take a lot to make a big difference.
£6 from a missed soup or cheesecake is enough to provide a chicken to a family in poverty, giving them eggs to improve health and income from market sales – something they may never have had before. And If you can stretch a little further then £20 will provide 4 chickens!
