Fundraising in school

Schools raised an amazing £150,000 to support our work last school year. That’s enough to help 1,000 families start their journey to leave poverty behind for good. You can see why we really value your support.

Harvest resources

Our great new 'Harvest of Hope' pack is now available! The pack contains a giant poster, stickers, fundraising ideas and lots of resources to download (like vegetable headbands!), plus lots of fun ideas of how to have a really great festival at your school. Use our online form to order and use our downloadable food related resources.

Quick ideas

• Hold a 'Mufti' day – simple, but fun! Your pupils can join in with African farmers by wearing wellies for a 'Wellie-Wednesday', paying £1 to Send a Cow. Or, run a ‘Poosday-Tuesday’, when pupils wear anything brown to raise money!
• Have a ‘Crazy Cow Day’ when everyone sells cow pat biscuits and milkshakes. The whole school could also bring in a 50p pieces to create a huge silver cow in the playground.

Build an African Farmyard

This exciting new project involves carrying out learning activities around a fantastic art display, whilst raising money for poor families in Africa. Using our pack of fun ideas, illustrations and facts, a class or even the whole school can create their very own African farm scene.

Read to Feed

A sponsored reading scheme is a great way to get your pupils reading more, add a Global Dimension to learning and raise money. Read to Feed uses special stickers, bookmarks and resources – Michael Morpurgo and JK Rowling are both fans! Everything you need to run the scheme is included in our CD-ROM pack. Raising money for cows and goats
