How we use your money
In 2010/11:
• Our income rose to £4.1m
• We worked with 14,500 families in seven countries in Africa
• Some 4,493 families in 119 groups achieved self sufficiency and ‘graduated’ from our programmes
• We spent 80 per cent of our income on our charitable aims, and expenditure on fundraising and governance costs dropped to just 20 per cent
• Volunteers gave 13,000 hours of their time, saving us £145,000 in salaries
All this has been made possible by the generous support of individuals, churches, schools, youth groups, rotary clubs, trusts, institutions, grant-making organisations and others. Thank you all!
