 VOLUNTEER: TRUSTS AND FOUNDATIONS ASSISTANT

We are looking to recruit a long-term volunteer to start February 2012 for a commitment of 1-2 days per week over a 3 to 6 month period (flexible depending upon individual's needs and existing commitments.)  Office hours are between 9.00 a.m. - 5.00 p.m.

Volunteering as part of the Partnerships Team, you will be invited to attend relevant meetings and receive ongoing support from the Trusts & Foundations Officer.

SOCIAL DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR - LESOTHO

Full-time.  Salary to be agreed on basis of skills and experience.

 Send a Cow has been working in Lesotho for 10 years and the office is based in Maseru West.

We are now seeking to appoint a Social Development Coordinator for this established programme.  The successful candidate will be a BSc / BA in agriculture, social work, education, rural development or related fields or higher.  S/he must have at least five years' relevant experience of community development at field level, with a strong understanding of social development, project management and delivering training to community groups.  S/he will have experience of leading, supporting, managing, inspiring and coaching staff with different disciplines and backgrounds. Experience of working with an NGO is desirable.
