Lent Challenge Resources 2012

Take our Lent Challenge this year and raise £40 in 40 days to provide a Drought Kit, helping families deal with the challenges of farming with increasingly unreliable rainfall.

It’s a simple idea! Challenge yourself to Do Something Different every day of Lent and raise £1 a day. You could set yourself a personal challenge such as giving up chocolate or learning a new skill. Or you could give your time to help others.

It's easy to get started:

Join others on your Lent Challenge - organise a Lent Lunch

Sometimes its easier to get together with others to take on challenges. The families we work with know all too well how much better it is to work together to overcome the challenges of poverty and hunger.

If you are part of a church or other group, then why not organise a Lent Lunch together to raise funds to help provide Drought Kits?  Request our Lent Lunch Pack containing a DVD all about our work, information about organising a Lent Lunch, worship ideas and publicity materials - call us on 01225 874222

If you would like to book a speaker for your group over Lent then fill in our speaker booking form here or call us.

We have some additional resources below:

Money raised can be sent as a cheque to: Freepost RRBX-LYBS-LZYR Send a Cow, The Old Estate Yard, Newton St Loe, Bath BA2 9BR

Or donate online through our ‘Do Something Different’ appeal page.

Don’t forget you can also join us on Facebook and tell all your friends what you’re doing for Lent.

(Lent 2012 is from 22nd February to 7th April)
