Africa Rally Update

Africa Rally Update

The Africa Rally teams are still on their way to Cameroon - it's almost a month since they set off and as you might expect they are facing very different weather and driving conditions to us here the UK!

With latest reports showing the Teams as far as Burkina Faso, they are making great progress. You can follow the Teams and see live updates, blogs and photographs at www.africarally09.theadventurists.com

So far the teams have raised almost £45,000 for charities including Send a Cow and the drivers are all really determined; even though the Auto Crisp team had to leave their car at Malaga, one driver Tadhg has decided to backpack all the way. What a fantastic committment!

The Africa Rally will help Send a Cow to train even more families in skills such as water harvesting and integrating livestock into a sustainable farming system. It will also enable us to help farmers set up essential 'backyard gardens' where they can produce healthy vegetables all year round.

We wish the Teams every success on their next lap of their journey…
