Prince Charles becomes President of Send a Cow

We are delighted to announce that His Royal Highness, The Prince of Wales, has become our President. This is a great honour for Send a Cow and will help to raise our profile and therefore allow us to help even more people in desperate need.

Send a Cow shares a number of values with The Prince of Wales including protection of the environment and entrepreneurship, which is reflected both in the Prince’s Trust in the UK and in the work we carry out in Africa helping disadvantaged people set up small, sustainable businesses. The Prince also has a long history of interest in, and support for, sustainable farming, through the development of his own Home Farm at Highgrove and through support of charities and organisations specialising in this cause.

The Prince of Wales has taken on the Patronage of Send a Cow for five years, until November 2014, in recognition of our commitment to, and achievements in, sustainable farming development in Africa.
