Our Foundation Series reports are a great place to start. Drawing together our own research with independent evaluations, case studies and comment, we have published three reports so far, focusing on climate change, organic agriculture and social development.

Highlighting the holistic nature of our work, they are a solid introduction to Send a Cow and also a useful reference point for ongoing debate around issues such as environmental impacts of farming, social development and natural farming vs use of fertilisers:

Uganda

Multiplier Research Report. Carried out by an independent consultant in Uganda to examine the wider impact of Send a Cow’s work.
Sustainable Agriculture Review, 2009. Jointly commissioned review by Send a Cow UK and Send a Cow Uganda to consider sustainable organic agriculture practices in the Uganda programme.
Northern Uganda Stockaid Extension Programme Final Evaluation Review 2010. Conducted by independent consultants for Send a Cow UK to assess the impact of the NUSEP programme on the participating women and their families.

Rwanda

Ethiopia
