David Turner Community Fundraiser: “We want to say a massive thank you to Clutton Primary School for raising money for us in such a creative way. It is fantastic to see the next generation getting involved and they can be sure that their donations will carry on helping children in Africa this Christmas, long after the decorations are down.”

Mrs Helen Morris – Teacher

So why did you choose Send a Cow?
We were inspired to raise money for you when an ambassador came and gave us a talk. We wanted the children to do something creative so we gave them all a small milk carton each that they could drink and then decorate to make a money box. They filled them up with pennies and we had a collection at the end – we’d made over £200! We haven’t raised quite enough for a cow but we are really pleased as we know every penny will go to help other children in Africa.

What did you think of the surprise visit from Send a Cow?
Planned lessons go out of the window when carrots, cows, sheep and chickens turn up! The children were thrilled with the visit and the special thank you from Send a Cow, it is wonderful that everyone has made such an effort and we won’t be forgetting this day in a hurry!
