World Poetry Day
We will be celebrating this day by bringing you verses written by our Aliasit farmer’s group in Uganda. In Africa, Send a Cow trainers often use poetry and drama workshops to tackle complex issues such as HIV/AIDS and gender. Running one of our educational schemes, such as Read to Feed, in a school or kids group would be a great way to mark World Poetry Day.
Concert in Aid of Send a Cow in Devon
On the 27th March a concert is being held in Aid of Send a Cow in Devon. The Launceston Male Voice Choir will be performing at Fairplace Church, Okehampton at 7.30pm. Tickets £5 from Jenny Reynolds 01837 861678.
